This year our Christmas Eve offering will go to support the "Rainbow Room" of northwest Texas. Our local Rainbow room is housed in Vernon and serves Hardeman, Wilbarger, Foard, and surrounding counties.
Rainbow rooms supply essential needs and items for young people who have been removed from their home due to dangerous situations. Often such removal happens so quickly that children have time only to throw a few essentials into a bag before being taken to safety.
Should a young person in the care of CPS find they are missing essential items, (clothing, sanitary items, even a toy for comfort, and more) the Rainbow room can immediately fill that need. This tool for supporting and protecting our local children is made possible by your generous donations.
When you attend our Christmas Eve candlelight service, Friday December 24 @ 6PM be sure to bring an offering to support this important, local cause. Remember, all donations go directly to support at-risk children in our local area.
